Get Down, Temecula Style

A full day of wine tasting, hot air ballooning, horseback riding, gambling, sightseeing and indulging in Temecula’s great restaurants is enough to send most of us to bed early – but if you’ve got the staying power we’ve got the dance clubs. In fact, Temecula boasts one of the largest dance clubs in all of Southern California! Club Silk, located in the Pechanga Casino, offers partygoers two ginormous dance floors, private booths and six bars, not to mention chart-topping musical acts and the best music  from around the world, live performance and the hottest celebrity DJs, for some serious getting down. Club Silk is open every Friday and Saturday night and some holidays – call the casino or check the club’s website to find out what’s going down. Or, just check our events calendar!

If you’d rather spend your money on drinks and not pay a cover for your boogie night, head on down to Eleven After Dark for a more casual, but just as awesome, good time. You can let loose from 10pm till closing to the best of mashup, classic rock, old school and top 40 music. Unlike Club Silk, there is no dress code here, but they do try to cultivate a sophisticated atmosphere so dig out your Friday and Saturday night best. For information and reservations, call 951/676-9567.

As if having one of the biggest Vegas style clubs in SoCal wasn’t enough, Temecula can also brag about having one of the biggest country bars on the whole West Coast! Stampede has everything the urban cowboy in you craves – from the huge dancefloor to pool tables, karaoke, great food, drink specials, dance lessons and even a mechanical bull.  And don’t write it off as just a country bar, there is a good blend of rock and roll to bring out your inner rebel as well. Stampede likes to keep it classy, so although jeans are practically the dress code you’ll want to leave your wife beater and bikini top at home. Get your boots on and head over Monday, Friday and Saturday nights starting at 6PM and Thursday nights at 8PM.

Many other wine bars and pubs offer up live music on occasion and you can bet that when the vibe is right the folks sitting at tables tapping their toes, nodding their heads and sipping Merlot eventually stop holding back and get up to let a little shimmy shimmy escape – to find out who’s putting on a show, or keep up to date with all the Temecula happenings, festivals and events, remember to check our events calendar or, for even easier info gathering, sign up for our free newsletter – Tales of Temecula – which will send all the news and events lowdown right to your inbox each and every month. Sign up, you don’t want to let yourself miss out on all the fun!
